Education Nation Nominated for Emmy Award
|
Jul 17, 2012 | Connections Media
Connections Media’s work on behalf of NBC News EducationNation.com has been nominated for an Emmy Award. This honor follows our recent Webby Award win for the Education Nation Summit in the Events and Live Webcasts category, and 2011 Emmy nomination for the Education Nation Summit’s Teacher Town Hall discussion. This year, Education Nation has been nominated for an Emmy in the New Approaches to News & Documentary Programming: Current News Coverage category. Other nominees include ABCNews.com coverage on the death of Osama bin Laden, and a New York Times video on the life and death of NHL player Derek Boogaard. EducationNation.com serves as NBC News’ digital hub for a solutions-focused conversation about the state of education in America. It also is the digital home of the live Education Nation Summit, featuring an online, teachers-only chat, online forums, and a customized site experience based on user interest. Congratulations to the NBC News team for the ongoing recognition of Education Nation. We are proud and honored to be a part of work recognized by the Emmys. blog comments powered by Disqus |
